The Contenders

 As Covenants forged or turned down,

See those Contenders fought for Crown;

No road left sequestered & serene,

Days turned to years, decades deracinating sheen.

Apart

Could be seen by wide open eyes,

But professed as though oceans apart;

Ersatz counters turned to claims,

So, awaited stranded in sulking dark.

Steps

The steps followed aleatory streets,

Also where diverse notions greet;

And where assembled proponents - 'High',

Defenders of path or acted in disguise;

Amplifier

Spoken or Written, authentic 'unaided' perspectives shouldn't crave for 'Number',

As 'How Many' absorbed or reverberated or overlooked or were put to Slumber;

Look around and witness, Everyone is an Observer - Insightful or Vile,

Streamed or Published what they actually Thought OR what their Masters Cried;

The Keys

Ain't fallacious IF stated that in bygone tales, Knowledge was shared,

Dispensed Administered by those who Preserve(d) it & Care(d)!

Imparted but NOT before perusing unmasking the facade,

Of the seekers who approached through Fairness or Influential Gate.

A Warrior Spirit

A noble warrior 'spirit' cannot 'alone' transcend or ameliorate,

As in absence of 'crafted' sheathing it dwells in peril;

Where negotiations galvanize only to conquer throne,

Seasons would come & go, riveted in 'deferral'.

Carte Blanche

The persuasion of Being Terrene is a Virtue,

But NOT when parti pris is induced, immersed;

Else equalled to Slaying Softly, under the Codes,

What worth throne framed with ashes, post those purged.

The Train

Day before, on evenings, miles are booked,

Eyes to gaze the unknown, mind to outlook;

Separated what from roads, haze & mountains,

And from fields lying barren or planted grains;

Stumbled
