Long back I coined this definition of Jobs & Experience -> ‘Performance Based Work Oriented Management.’
Every profession requires a particular kind of what you may call an implicit taste or trait. Sadly, we’ve buried that under the verbose imaginary Resumes, or, DEI. Take this example. Compare MTV’s late 90s to early 00s VJs, with, the later era of Music channels; you would yourself notice a difference. Similarly, in a fashion industry, a particular taste is required, but today, anyone with a degree in fashion tech & design can enter; alas, that hasn’t helped the fashion industry either. Have you lately seen the Calvin Klein Ad? Take another example. Coders with MBA can become policy makers. Is Silicon Valley an inspiration? Or mere a qualification of Public Policy will end you up drafting global policies. Result -> three decades and indispensable globalization collapsed. Look at the United Nations in the last four decades.
