This is absolutely Ethically Wrong to publicly Ask Federal Workers, as what They did Last Week, no matter how much of Cost Cutting is required, or, no matter how Contentious their decisions were in the Past. Firstly, there’s a procedure within the organization itself, to deal with such issues, without amplifying it in the public. Secondly, good people would always get affected, as, the not so good ones would always find their way to justify themselves, or, adjust Anywhere!
Albeit, I’ve always considered US as a Corporate, & not as such Nation; YET, even in terms of Corporate Language, this kind of behavior isn’t Correct! Even Mr. Murthy in India is wrong for supporting similar kind of Work Culture! Because, then, I too can question the foundation of the IT Industry only, built merely on the substrata of Offshore/Support/Outsourcing, two decades back! How?If you want Everyone to work under the influence of Drugs, or, Stamina Enhancing Steroids, or, the Medicines which only (B)Millionaires right now can Afford to Enhance their Working Hours, BUT, Expect Normal Humans to Work under similar situation; then, this is Not Correct & is Unfair!
And I can guarantee you that, as albeit we all know the reality of today’s private or public sector; YET, No Good Person Would Ever Want To Work Under Such Environment!
