The Future Of WIKILEAKS Now!

I must admit, Mr. Biden before the elections took a very calculated move, by almost pardoning Julian Assange (the guilty plea looks like pardon to me), as if you may recall, many amongst MAGA also solicited Mr. Trump to pardon Assange back then, the request that never materialized.

Because Democrats now have taken this privilege to pardon Assange, and as only because of them he was on the run; which might help not only Mr. Biden in the elections to a some extent, but even Rishi Sunak as well, as this is what the consensus was amongst the conservatives & leftists as well in the UK.

Whereas, Snowden might not be having the same fate as of Julian Assange, for the reason that and if I’m not wrong, Assange didn’t actually steal the documents with his own hands, but only published it (a case of hacking again);

whereas,

Snowden did the opposite, which legally, is an act of treason, you like it or not; unless there’s a consensus amongst everyone achieved that what he did was for the benefit for the Internet as whole, and for the global community as well, which seems to be quite a difficult thing to achieve, unless any sitting President thinks otherwise.

Regarding the future of Wikileaks, it would keep publishing documents, which would remain part of the political discourse; but not beyond! And if it would too act alike a hit-job critic laundering program which we’ve seen in the past 10-12 years, the money being reimbursed via Silicon Valley; or the way Western journalism demeaned journalism itself; then Wikileaks too would lose its charm; merely being considered as bounty-hunters against certain political entities to collect their dues! No more, No less! 😊
