Flashbacks that merely last few moments,
Is the true nostalgic pleasure one needs;
And if it leads to comparative thoughts?
Not evolved is present; one sought or seek!
If one’s lost in translations of faded texts,
Been said, wrote or spoke to move ahead;
And if nostalgia always is a step forward?
Then present hasn’t been defined or read.
We’re in the quest of time that extemporize,
So, few moments enough to, if & when spent;
Alas, incessant swaying in past to present?
Then either side needs to be bent or upend.
If one might crave for the time to revive!
Shouldn’t be the case, as present isn’t aligned! ☹
