“National Geographic magazine laid off last of its writers”

Even if in any other Universe I were a PhD scholar from topmost Academia, then therein too, I knew that I would’ve ended up writing poetries & blogs, as my childhood already explored the inside-out of Academia, & its anticipated products of the future!

I grew up reading likes of Nat Geo, watching great flicks, cartoons, the then likes of MTv that once actually played music, documentaries (even DD had some memorable things); further I was surrounded by academicians & administrators (not left or right or today’s liberals),

but pure, academia; sometimes living in the vicinity of such Institutes or Universities. When I read the story about Nat Geo laying off last of its writing staff, I wasn’t surprised, as two decades back only I realized that all better content would eventually say adieus, & Internet would become an unusable compost, full of -> from today’s Influencers to Strictly School Grads/Post Grads to Ideological Shrieks. Been writing this now for more than a decade about this, as Tech & Internet were upgrading & evolving, but, at the cost of overall AestheticsNo idea who or what sort of mentality prevailed; but, likes of Nat Geo’s fall today is of no surprise, at least to me!
