Indeed, a great news that, finally, the so-called legacy blue ticks, that made social media sick, have been removed, & could now be availed only via Subscription. These arbitrarily given blue tick verifications earlier (in majority cases) was a reprehensible act, that made careers’ out of thin air, with the help of mainstream, who too wanted to publish certain individuals’,
and further might’ve lobbied, including at Twitter, for assigning of verifications, as an excuse to publish such certain individuals (which was worse than PR & Image Management). These entities, who published, as publishers or otherwise, for the mainstream, were/are menace to the Internet. Furthermore, all these so called legacy blue tick holders used Twitter to market from their Flicks to Books, gained followers by making ideological statements; yet these misers who’ve millions in their bank accounts don’t even want to pay mere $8 a month. Thus, this cleansing act, for the Internet has begun, by achieving this first step of removal of these so called legacy blue tick verifications. 😊© Pranav Chaturvedi 2023
