The Harvard Plagiarism Saga & What Defines Plagiarism!

 

After reading the news about recent Harvard’s plagiarism saga, I went through Harvard’s Plagiarism Guide. If I’m not wrong, and as per its guidelines, and under Verbatim or Mosaic Plagiarism or Inadequate Paraphrase clause, then there’re well paid well-known Columnists who adapt, replicate, get inspired by the ideas of other Articles, Blogs already published & existing; yet, the said Columnists’ (may) never quote the source, anticipating that, as these columns are being published in the well-known mainstream with a good number of audience reach, its readers would think that this is the only original Column/Article published, alas, that wasn’t/isn’t the case!

YouTube Was Fun Initially! Then, It Became Unpalatable - Just Alike ‘Erstwhile’ Twitter!

 

Imagine, any intended Library been flooded with non-experts, partisan high db amplifiers, non-original, adapted/replicated data; the said data then being compounded into revenues & payback both for the company & users, and then, in the Library, being sold as a Reference or Text Book by the Librarian with the help of selfsame mainstream.  

Now, nothing tweaks more than what when falls from grace, and YouTube, might be the next erstwhile Twitter. If not, then should be. As erstwhile Twitter left no stone unturned to end the sanctity of the Internet (diluting the very purpose & meaning of the Internet’s Invention), as & when it moved away from its policy from noble thought sharing platform, to, arbitrarily issuance of non-subscription based Blue Ticks, to, harboring ideological slugfest; YouTube, alike it, & Wikipedia, TikTok etc.; too became the source of smut, unpalatable, when its selfsame policy makers (admired by the Librarian above),  transformed it into somewhat similar platforms. And I won't be surprised IF there's One Mind behind such policies, whether arbitrarily issuance of non-subscription based Blue Ticks, or, no. of views/clicks == revenue for users + company, enabling the selfsame to assemble together in segregated groups, to then its Recipients being used for further (un)intended purposes.

Thus, there’s no hope, &, Internet needs RESURRECTION! ☹

This Dilemma of Double-Standards

 

If so much of freedom of speech & love; alas, then why so much of hate against Mr. Trump or Mr. Modi? An analogy for this double standard as an example is: let’s say any elected Politician sharing Parliamentary Login details with Others, BUT, whilst working at/in any topmost MNC/Fortune 500 Companies, abiding by its tons of Non-Disclosure Agreements, Trade Secrets & Employer-Employee Contracts. The Irony, isn’t it?

The Dilemma of Nostalgia

 

Flashbacks that merely last few moments,

Is the true nostalgic pleasure one needs;

And if it leads to comparative thoughts?

The Reason I Support The State of Israel

The 3 Waves

 

Whilst leafing through different many, when I came across to The Telegraph’s headlines that read as, ‘Why liberals have ended up cheerleading for jihadism,’ honestly, that didn’t  surprise me, as it perfectly suited even for today’s Academia as well, including the recent actions of the academic crowd, whether of Harvard or Columbia or Oxford or UPenn and so on; as for decade & a half, I’ve been writing that the support of terror in future won’t originate from some remote archaic village on the planet, but indeed, both from both PR & Academia across World (as these two produce, project & amplify narratives), whilst Academia falling into the wrong hands long time back only was the triggering point for the first wave, by dilution of evolutionary traits. In the second wave, participants would originate; and in the third, the conductors!

The Era of Species Another has Begun!

 

Who prayeth knows, it, evolves slowly-steadily,

Like evolution itself, where the destinies meet;

My Rendezvous with Publishers

 

The other day, I started contacting known publishing houses to publish One out of Six of my Poetry book in Print Length Edition. I already knew that hybrid or self-publishing via publisher is not that difficult, as you just need to invest partly or fully, and the number of copies you desired would be published, & then either alone, or with the help of distributor, you can take your book into the shelves of book stores. But the real deal is with the traditional publishing, in which you’re not spending a penny, and the publisher takes the entire initiative. So, I started calling/writing emails in the last couple of months for traditional publishing. It was honestly fun discovering the truth about poetries. And technically, the logic given by several publishers was indeed correct & acceptable w.r.t. poetries.

The Incorrect Usage of Words in Israel-Palestine Conflict!

The usage of the words: colonialism or apartheid or occupiers for Israel in the mainstream is technically Incorrect! And it’s not about me being partial, but, pointing out the wrongful usage of words in the layman’s language.

Now, colonialism means establishing forceful settlement over indigenous people, whereas, apartheid means segregation in terms of race. But in the Israel-Palestine conflict, technically, Israelis themselves too are original indigenous people according to the ancient history books; who once left their homeland during invasions by Romans, Greeks, and especially during Arab era; got dispersed globally, until post WW-1 & 2, wherein eventually started returning back to their homeland i.e. present day Israel, which their ancestors fled once, during earlier invasions.

The Allies Failed Israel; Not Its Intelligence!

 

Indeed, this act of terrorism is more than a pearl harbor or 9/11 moment for Israel, as when you adjust the population ratio of it comparing to major democratic nations, the toll would go into thousands. And I was flabbergasted when one UN lady on the mainstream spoke, that, terrorists should avoid civilians; as if they’re allowed to launch rockets or can infiltrate the streets firing guns & bombs. Such statements reminded of one eminent political scientist & a politician himself viz. Dr. Justin Tweedledum of Canada who’s PhD in Political Disasters from Ottawa University, in an alternate universe.....

Decision Making vs. Modern Liberalism. A Case.

In 2001, WSJ published an article titled, “The answer to terrorism? Colonialism.” But in the 80s to early 90s, the Western mainstream considered Mujahideen as heroes in the war against Soviets, on sovereign soils; until, one day, the terror knocked on their own doors, eventually upending their beliefs, so much so that by mid-90s, the West had to forge an alliance, against such overseas heroes of theirs’. And remember? The early 00 speech, originating from the West -> ‘Either you are with us, or you are with the terrorists.’ Today, exactly who is standing alongside terrorism?......

The Game

 

Seems Mr. Justin Trudeau didn’t comprehend the game. He thought, just alike Britishers gave away 1/3 of India to Pakistan, he would help Khalistanis’ in acquiring tiny part of India, to form Khalistan (which is under the influence of PAK). Further it looks like, for him, all this Khalistani separation movement is a new adventure under modern liberalism. While writing this blog, I'm recalling Justin Timberlake's early 00's song: "give me that chance, to be your man."....

What defines diaspora today?

 

Suppose, Subject A is a Japanese by citizenship, or may be by birth, but not by evolution. Eventually, Subject A relocates to, let’s say to Canada, Qatar or maybe US, Singapore, Australia. Now assume, Subject A always despised original Japan, with some grudges.

After emigrating/immigrating, Subject A starts galvanizing people in Canada, US, Singapore, Australia etc. against Japan; further approach mainstream, extremist organizations around world, in the name of diversity & free will; to drop another metaphorical nuclear weapon on Japan, this time on Tokyo.

The Dilemma of Canada

We’ve been so much consumed into ideologue talks, the victims forever, the ornamental political regional representations, the vernacular sectarian quest, the recommendations, the references, and the Fellowships for/of such all; that even today & would always, only the ancient philosophy & literature would rule; as the present modern era forged the ring to be then worn & distributed by the Smeagols’ of our era, for whom the only precious and eagle eyes  are to get stuck in the riddle, resolving the politically (in)correct verbose drafts or debates; enshrouded & cemented with social media baloney!

As a famous saying goes, the rising would always go for a war with the ruling, and, the ruling would take all measures to make the rising sink; thus, according to the saying, China’s war with US seems then inevitable (let’s say Taiwan becomes an excuse); but, would the same case one day be applicable for/to Bharat (erstwhile India) as well?

The Dilemma of Indian Atheists’ & Rationalists'

 

When Nupur commented on Islam, then the confused Atheists & Rationalists of India (and I'm not referring to those who were exiled by their own nations and had/have been living in India), started making references from death of diversity to democracy. The whole Mid-East+ longed for her head, and so as many herein indirectly, including some such above, who outrightly never objected to such diktats, even after happening of the similar incident in Rajasthan.

How the above captioned subject is worth analyzing! Take few disconnected examples herein below, which would then be combined as a whole, to partially prove it.

One can’t differentiate between authentic journalism vs. hit-job journalism.

Contradiction......

 

I’m not going into the case details, but, compare these two case studies.

Mr. Trump was criticized for claiming that 2020 US elections being rigged. Fine! But look at another example. Many Indian Politicians, Journalists in India, before or after every Indian election, criticize -> from EVMs to Election Commission; and such thoughts are being amplified on the mainstream. Not only that, if someone time-travel back in the past, let’s say merely two decades, or the era before the EVMs were introduced; then one might witness in that era, existence of booth capturing of ballot boxes in many parts of India. Right?
