Let me first initially illustrate the concept of Insecurity with a poetry of mine; the story of a King which I heard when young, but alas, that never rhymed. And a story that doesn’t rhyme, then, in it depth ain’t defined.
So here it goes:
An ailing King, once wakened the town,
In front of palace, swarm of people would show.
Some prayed for revered highness, others wept,
Whilst few stood folded hands, on gate elbows.
No panacea nor cured the caress of bloodlines,
A Sage then called for repose in this sulking time;
Said he, ‘There’s no sickness that enshroud you my King,
Then why you grieve despite your Kingdom shine?’
‘I’ve what shalt make my generations to thrive,
Alas! Not adequate for the rest, who shalt come & grow?
Too old I’m to build more in the present now,
This keeps me sulking, no sleep; peace no more!’
Sage took King for walk next day; the King in veil,
And asked to give coin to an indigent wandering, playing flute;
Described, how exuberant & gratitude he felt; when left,
That mere a coin brought to him; peace on man’s facade glued.
King realized baggage he carried rather reflected on the cause,
Plunged into the time that’s shackled, unrevealed.
Following, presented himself to natives as the King he was!
This is the Story that elucidate Insecurity. Fast Forward time till present. Now, both Insecurity & Nepotism come in a far bitter flavour. To save one’s professional legacy, one would go to any extent. If not farther, then would hire who can revolve around rather preferring itself to be revolving. I’m not contending for breaking traditions. But in governance or mainstream, there should be nepotism at the minimum level.
P.S. -> I’m not interested herein in representation vs equality vs equity related talks. As, evolutionary traits differ.🤔
