What were the writers or minds behind Squid Game, Apocalypto, Death Race, Hunger Games etc. must be thinking whilst drafting such story lines. As all writings share similar notes with different amplitudes. And what’s that? That within Capitalism or Communism==Socialism, some trying to achieve an egalitarian equal society via playing certain gladiator style Games. Swaying somehow on the concept of -> unequal distribution of wealth in former vs equal distribution of poverty in latter. One important thing to note is that in both cases, there’re some vs. the rest. The masters & The servers.
And the onus is thrusted on the players (servers) to prove being egalitarian. And ironically, whether players themselves are theists, atheists, communists, leftists, liberals, humanists, illiterate, literate, educated, poor, middle-class or once rich -> they all seek accomplishment in winning & would further go to any extent, individually to win, whether being part of any team or as a partner or being alone.
The present times is somewhat similar. What do you think why would a staunch capitalist give away $100M to a staunch communist? Or why a staunch communist once said that capitalism is the first path to be followed merely to achieve absolute communism? These aren’t words. These are strange commandments/diktats that’s been followed by many, globally. So who’s who? It’s like what came first, chicken or egg! Now, where the Right stands? For that you need to first peel off few present/past generations (considering these few generations as superficial malformed ones), to understand what the original Right wants/wanted. As, Right of one Nation differs from Right of Another. So, there isn’t single definition. Squid Game in Right might exist. But that would be territorial unless issues alike proselytism via exploitation/ackers, OR, cross border terrorism comes into context.
Now, coming back to the topic of thoughts behind supra writers/makers. Apocalyto is understandable. It was an ancient culture that the makers tried to project. But what about the other three or similar many? Were those these writers/makers mere personal metaphorical experiences or reflection of society in general with harsh portrayal of it or simply fantasy?
If we replace players with communism, capitalism, concocted globalism, international organizations, cross border terrorism, most ngo’s, modern left liberals, msm, merchants, marauders, trojan horses -> then that shows how the society might’ve work(ed) in present or several decades or even centuries back.
Lesson: The thirst of both Poor & Rich can never be quenched, Whereas, the academic-financial inferiority complexes of Lower-Middle-Upper middle classes can’t be retrenched!🤔
