Once
a gold penny slid from the pocket,
Of
an enraptured celebrated Liberal Leftist!
Came
the entire town then to halt,
To search precious lost & of its rights vested.
From
the legal eagles across borders,
To
charities in town timelessly sowed;
Comes
mainstream beyond the horizon,
All
in Chorus, ’Where’s the penny of gold?’
Who
were passing, were stopped; so were pets,
Mayor
of the town was called, so were the rest;
In
chorus chanted, ‘lost is the penny of my friend;’
Locate
or else this town shalt witness the end.
From
Officers of Reserved Banks to Feds,
Whoever
in streets, big or small, or in beds;
Searching
gold penny, that never was lost,
Fell
beside Locker; Alas! A concealed thought! 😊
