Know how distinct depth is from
distance,
Wherein one dives into deepest;
In latter merely floats,
Sailing isn’t descend, nor bring any zest.
One may say, ‘crossed horizons to
share,
Got inundated with knowledge,
diverse,’
But it’s myth that one can apprehend
it all!
As takes life to know a land -
big or small.
One may sail or swim & can
cross,
Miles & miles measured being
sailed;
But that never illumines, nor
bequeath,
What does when plunged into any depth!
Indeed! No miles can be measured,
When in darkest dived into blue
& deep;
Know - what shalt illumine in
those depth,
Ain’t bequeathed by upthrust than
what’s in deepest seen.
