A splash of spot if spattered on face,
& Locked shackled in closet abandoned
from race;
May it be locked for a generation or more!
But for how long? As longer as the Time isn’t sure!
Time moves slowly but eventually sanitize,
What’s prolonged & what’s been nurtured ‘un’right;
Who subsidized, who being sponsored, who gained,
And why, few who ameliorated were wrongly
shamed.
So once mark that shouldn’t have been spat,
Merely to assuage impulses what & who ought
to have been thrashed;
When those impulses nurtured outgrew leaving
stains,
Then never expect for Time to cleanse such gains.
As, spoil not what that nurtures or one day
intend to,
Else, albeit moments would pass but arrive to
haunt;
Expect not, it to amend or alter what’s stained,
As Time never resuscitates what’s purposely
made to lost. 😊
