The Stallion

A thoroughbred Stallion that fought,
Not once but many, no battles ever sought;
What shined from afar, a dark horse,
Always in race, against it was not.

Staggered never while being in race,
Compelled in it or volitional partake;
Whether before victual contaminated fed,
Or perceiving in race was behind or ahead.

There isn’t any truth what’s been told,
When several who betted narrate unfold;
Who’s in race would know the unknown,
Primarily what’s unsaid in rabbit’s hole.

The Stallion who won or lost the race,
Never backed down come what's in page;
Being it is being better than being bought,
As such few in creed ameliorate when drought. 😊
