The Contenders

 As Covenants forged or turned down,

See those Contenders fought for Crown;

No road left sequestered & serene,

Days turned to years, decades deracinating sheen.

Beholding from afar as 'Will' restrained,

That Bequeathed splendid inscriptions went in vain!

Rather perusing that - 'What one carried once,

Shalt dispense the same to sons or in abundance.'

Though Rule by and of and for inhabitants disavow selective,

But neutralized are such notions when weighed magniloquent perspectives;

When doors were kept unclosed unlocked to attain,

Not by Pedigrees but who dwelled unfaithfully to expand & gain;

One must wholly know compadre first than adversary,

Where Negotiations break or seal sans being visionary.
