Recent SC decision quashing MCI to
hold NEET Examination unfolds one more proposition according to my
understanding.
It says MCI cannot conduct the NEET
Examination but “its verdict will not affect the admissions which have already taken place”. And according to my cognition what does that
mean? “A conduct of any Authority in the past, if it was not qualified to commit
that, but if it had committed it, should
not make the innocent and guileless people, who were the direct recipients
of that conduct, get affected. And
what does that mean? People can get relief retrospectively too.”
